Google Maps iPhone App Gets 10 Million Downloads In Two DaysGoogle has finally released its long-awaited map app for iPhone, delivering all the expected features like public transit, voice-guided turn-by-turn navigation, traffic and more.

The new  Google Maps iPhone app was released a week ago and hit ten million downloads in two days.

This is simply striking! Not only Google’s search engine, but also its products and applications are quite successful among people.

Google’s Senior Vice President of Commerce & Local at Google — Jeff Huber – said on Google+ : “We’re excited for the positive reception of Google Maps for iPhone around the world. Congratulations to the Maps Team on the recognition for the passion and hard work they poured into it, for this release and over the last 7+ years.”

The app has already hit the number one free app rank in the Apple App Store and has over 20,000 reviews with a 4.5 star rating and the reviews for the Google Maps app have almost all been stellar.
