It’s a Google Panda update again! Google released Panda Update 21 on November 5th. The update will impact about 0.4% of queries that a regular user might notice. However, the US searches in English are impacted higher, about 1.1%.
No matter how many search engine algorithm updates Google releases, if you run a healthy website, you’re on the right track. Today, in terms of ranking, there’s nothing more important than the proper internal and external linking, links from social media and the quality content.
Links: Make sure you get relevant backlinks from high-ranked sources and your website’s internal structure is well-organized. Remember that each page is unique, and besides the homepage, other pages of your site are important as well. Link related pages on your site, use menu, navigation, etc for internal linking. This way you make Google bots and users to pay attention to them as well.
Social: Today, social and SEO are coming together as never before. If you want to put your business on map, get noticed and gain exposure, you should run an effective social marketing campaign.
Content: Things on the Internet change fast, however content still remains a crucial aspect of SEO. You can’t run a successful SEO campaign if your content is poor. Include the right keywords in the content and make sure you update your website’s content regularly. The more you update the content, the more you’ll use the keywords and there’s a higher chance of ranking well in the search engines. In other words, remember that query (keyword) deserves freshness – QDF.
